Flight Operations Systems Engineer - Satellites

Description

  • Participate in and coordinate the analysis, planning, and definition of constellation operations (ConOps).

  • Prepare, test, and execute operations procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Conduct trade-off studies for the Satellite LEOP plan.

  • Develop and oversee Spacecraft In-Orbit Operations Procedures and associated training.

  • Create and oversee Satellite Operation Manuals and test procedures.

  • Verify and validate operations procedures for on-orbit commissioning, routine, and contingency operations.

  • Support In-Orbit Test (IOT), anomaly resolution, and FDIR.

  • Assist in ICD development activities (both hardware and software/database).

  • Support the Operations DevOps environment and tool-chain integration.

  • Contribute to ConOps Mission Design, Trade Space Analysis, Modeling, and Automation.

  • Operate and develop scripts for the Satellite Simulator.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr.
