The Entry Coordinator, Lead is responsible for providing operational security support, monitoring physical security, and facilitating authorized entry of visitors. Maintains a safe and secure facility by verifying IDs, conducting perimeter walks, and monitoring alarm systems with the ability to follow security mitigation and response plan when/if needed. High school diploma, with 5 years of relevant experience

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Acts as a lead to other Entry Coordinators.

Provides operational security support and monitor physical security

Facilitates the authorized entry of approximately 1000 visitors per month. Accounts for personnel who are authorized entry into building

Maintains a safe and secure facility at all times by performing random ID verification of permanent employees, 100% ID verification of visitors and random baggage searches of all personnel entering the facility.

Conducts a minimum of six exterior perimeter walks between the hours of 1800 and 0530, verifying the security of all exterior doors and gates. Conducts a minimum of six interior perimeter walks daily, conducts internal and external security checks on a 4-hour basis, verifying the security of all interior doors and proper storage of classified materials

Monitors the temperature alarm system(s) and verify the operation of the cooling systems ensuring Internally Controlled Areas (ICA's) are properly temperature controlled. Utilizes coded alarm systems, video surveillance equipment, and Automated Entry Control System equipment to ensure only authorized personnel gain access to the facility.

Monitors the operation of Info Graphics Intrusion Alarm Systems and Access Entry Control Systems.

Verifies all personnel entering the facility are authorized to do so by verifying a current Visit Authorization Request (VAR) is in place or personnel possess appropriate access badges.

Enters data, query visit control databases, and provides assistance in the location of assigned personnel through the use of automated systems and applications.

Reports all equipment and software application problems to Government clients for expedient resolution.

Opens the security office safe to sign out classified keys to building personnel. Supports badge handout and escort for meeting attendees

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma, with 5 years of relevant experience
