Position Summary: As a Branch Service Operations Specialist within Retirement Solutions, you will collaborate with our wider team to support Financial Advisors and their Support Professionals to onboard & service 401(k) plan business. In this position, you will play an active role in supporting the RS Service Specialist Lead and/or Branch Manager with all aspects of compliance and oversight. This includes developing and managing procedural documentation, supervisory checklists, and calendars. You will assist with collating data from internal systems for periodic reporting for status updates to our internal team members and business unit leadership. The role will also assist with the project management of internal Service initiatives and fulfil action items related to the branch set-up, Your contributions will help drive the future growth of this business unit and you will coordinate with other compliance and operational teams, both within RS, and across the firm to ensure that the retirement plan business is compliant with firm protocols.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and manage procedural documentation, supervisory checklists, and calendars

· Collate data from internal systems for periodic reporting for status updates

· Assist with the project management of internal Service team initiatives

· Liaise with the RS Business Operations & Controls team to fulfil action items related to the RS Home Office branch set-up

· Provide retirement industry subject matter expertise with respect to the service nuances required for a Home Office branch

· Coordinate with other team members within Retirement Solutions and MS at Work Product partners to identify opportunities to unlock additional scalability while maintaining a compliant process

· Focus on achieving business objectives and doing so in a professional manner

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 3-7 years of Wealth Management industry experience; Retirement experience a plus

· Strong written & verbal communications skills

· Demonstrated organizational aptitude

· Works well in a dynamic, team-based environment, collaborating with external partners, and other Morgan Stanley operational teams to meet the needs of our clients in a first-class way

· Salesforce experience a plus

· FINRA Series 7 & 66

Salary range for the position: $50,000 - $105,000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
