Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in DENVER, Colorado, for an Accounting Clerk in the Logistics industry. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including managing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and responding to customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the invoicing process for customers and vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Maintain and update customer credit records, adhering to industry-specific platforms like Etrans

• Utilize basic Excel skills for data entry and record keeping

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, with a focus on Accounts Payable

• Use QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle for various accounting tasks

• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on their status

• Ensure account reconciliation is consistently up to date

• Work on a Windows-based platform, using Outlook for email correspondence

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks, paying close attention to detail. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Familiarity with Billing procedures

• Accurate and efficient Data Entry skills

• Expertise in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Oracle financial software

• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software

• Familiarity with SAP financial software

• Prior experience in the logistics industry is preferred

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
