Job Title: Accounting Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of our multi-entity organization. This role requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional financial acumen, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices. The Accounting manager will have 5 Direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting activities for multiple entities within the organization.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Coordinate and manage the external audit process.

• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics and prepare management reports for senior leadership.

• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments including finance, legal, and operations to support organizational goals and initiatives.

• Participate in strategic financial planning and budgeting processes.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. No other concentrations will be considered.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

• Previous experience in a multi-entity environment, preferably within a private equity backed organization, is strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

• Proven ability to lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior management and external stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
