FCSD PVT Operations Coordinator

The FCSD Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Resident Operations Coordinator reports to the FCSD PVT Team Manager. Primary responsibilities supporting the PVT Residents in the Plants and FCSD Plant Vehicle Team Manager by gathering required data to manage team metrics and reporting requirements and providing training and process support. This position will also provide back-up support to the PVT resident as needed and may have opportunities to travel to support product investigations as necessary.
This position is a located in Dearborn, Michigan.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Developing and tracking monthly FCSD PVT metrics
Supporting development of Launch and Program Status reports and letters.
Leading GDIA enhancements for PVT systems (LLM, GCQIS, Sharepoint, and Parts Tracker)
Maintaining and revising FCSD PVT processes and documents
Training of new PVT Residents
Developing process meeting materials
Back up PVT Residents, as required
Interfacing with core engineering activities as required to support FCSD PVT resident efforts to resolve product concerns in cross-vehicle line issues
Supporting PVT Residents with Cost Avoidance Business Case process to measure warranty cost saves
Supporting Manager to execute the Early Dealer Feedback process following major launches.
Utilizing GCQIS Concern Management to manage and track service concerns identified.
Working with Design for Service counterparts to develop relationships and processes for hand-off after key milestones (e.g., , other)
Liaising with Core CIDR Team to develop relationships and strategically / efficiently hand-off after LTIS / Launches (e.g., 90 / 120 / 180 days post-OKTB).
You’ll have:
Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology (or equivalent) required
Proficiency with Ford Databases (GCQIS, WERS, MMP, GSAR, TWAS) required
Automotive Service technical experience required
Strong verbal communication, technical writing, and presentation skills are a must
Capacity to effectively manage multiple tasks
Adapt quickly to supporting ad-hoc projects
Even better if you have:
Dealer Employment experience (fixed operations) desired
FCSD field experience desired
Knowledge of Product Development process and structure desired
