We need someone like you who is eager to work on complex projects that'll enable global fielding of 5th generation fighter aircraft. Using computer-related facilities management software and your problem-solving skills, you'll oversee a team to develop creative solutions on mission-critical projects in defense. In this role, you'll closely impact defenseby defining and overseeing implementation of facility requirements. What You'll Work On: Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards and design and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts for clients in defense. Lead analyses and solution development for facility planning and management for U.S. Department of Defense and allies. Perform complex activities as related to the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization. Prepare or review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility. Advise U.S. DoD and partnerclients in developing plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, facility, or individual space requirements. You Have: 10+ years of experience managing and monitoring military facility architecture and engineering projects Experience analyzing, reviewing, and generating clear and concise technical documentation and briefings Experience working with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite Knowledge of DoD civil engineering policies, practices, and procedures relative to facilities and infrastructure Knowledge of program management, planning, and budgeting, and financial control principles Knowledge of standard contracting regulations, practices, and procedures Knowledge of facilities operations and maintenance Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 25% of the time Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with F-35 or 5th generation fighter aircraft operational facilities Experience working in a flexible environment and interacting with multiple stakeholders for project success Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Civil Planning Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) credential Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
