Your Title: Business Development Manager Job Location: Westminster, CO- Hybrid or Remote US Our Department: Transportation & Logistics The mission of a Business Development Manager is to build a pipeline by identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities through inbound and outbound prospecting. You will initiate the first contact with a prospect, qualify the Ideal Customer Profile and interest to be converted into pipeline for Sales. As a crucial part of the early stage of the sales cycle, the Business Development Manager is the intermediary between marketing and sales and owns the first point of contact with a potential customer. What You Will Do Creating outbound leads by proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market Leveraging prospecting strategies to collaborate with the Sales Rep in initial outreach to new potential clients Qualifying inbound leads from marketing campaigns Following up on first interactions to identify needs & challenges the prospective customer faces and scheduling qualification meetings for sales representatives with prospects Nurturing potential customer relationships, fuelling the prospect's interest in Transportation and Logistics technology solutions Driving and facilitating effective cross-functional teamwork, with Marketing and Sales, in the interest of creating new business opportunities while staying up to date with new market developments and trends, including analyzing market reports to determine where to seek out new business What Skills & Experience You Should Bring Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage your time effectively Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching the next potential client Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Thrive in a small team environment where you can make a big impact Experience utilizing a marketing automation tool; CRM database What Skills & Experience You Could Bring Experience with a solution-selling methodology or proven experience learning a complicated vertical and/or sales process Understanding of SaaS Technologies and Sales Experience with Sales Engagement Platforms, Outreach Inc.
