Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, and oral motor disorders, according to department policy and procedure. Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort
Indoor department, clean and pleasant. Well lighted and ventilated. Forty hour work week with holiday and weekend rotation. The task of this job involves exposure to blood, body fluids and tissue. Considerable stooping, kneeling, pushing and pulling required. Lifting, carrying and walking also required for patient treatments. Exposure to physical and mental anguish. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently.
Minimum Qualifications or Equivalents
Education: Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Experience: Experience or completed Clinical Internship preferred.
EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Computer, communication, therapeutic/technical skills.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations
ASHA certification CCC/SLP; Kentucky Board of Speech - Language Pathology License.
