Job Summary
As the Senior Executive Chef, you'll lead the culinary direction at this location. Collaborating closely with our partners, you'll craft a culinary journey tailored specifically to our location, ensuring that every guest/fan who walks through our doors enjoys an unforgettable experience.
Detailed Responsibilities
Building a strong partnership with our onsite partner and developing a shared culinary vision for the location
Representing Levy and our business objectives at partner meetings, networking and building relationships with key partners and vendors
Overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of safety and sanitation in all activities across the culinary department
Interviewing applicants interested in roles requiring your hiring consideration and approval
Identifying opportunities and driving improvements in both the food and financial performance
Overseeing season planning process ensuring alignment with Levy and partner expectations/goals
Overseeing menu design and updates in line with food trends and internal data, cost of goods, and popularity
Overseeing project management of construction/refurbishment activity that happens in the department
Conducting event walks interacting with team members, guests, partners, and VIPs
Creation of menu build diagrams
Working closely with the regional and Home Office culinary teams to continually evolve the food experience for guests
Working in partnership with our partners and regional leadership team to develop location strategic plan
Conducting department safety walks so it maintains an outstanding level of safety and cleanliness
Job Requirements
5+ years experience as an Executive Chef in a high volume atmosphere
Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products
Culinary degree from a reputable culinary school is preferred
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to manage budgets, control costs and drive profitability
In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulation
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a guest focused mindset
Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
High level of computer literacy
Experience in the use of social media is preferred
