Job Description:
The Director of Student Success works in partnership with and as part of the Jonsson School Office of Undergraduate Affairs. The Director leads the development and implementation of high-impact student academic support programs across the undergraduate experience with the goal of increasing student engagement, persistence, resilience, engineering identity, and graduation rates. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Student Success and works closely with the Director of Advising and the Assistant Dean of Assessment.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD and 2 years development and implementation of new student success initiatives;
Master’s Degree and 4 years development and implementation of new student success initiatives.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Ph.D. preferred; Five years of student success program leadership experience.
Two years of leadership experience in developing and implementing high-impact, student success initiatives.
Strong written and oral communication skills, public speaking, organizational skills, and proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Teams).
Excellent leadership, supervisory, planning, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative while also functioning effectively as a team member.
