Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Application Administrator in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work Youll Do Drive software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Drive the evaluation of technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design. Gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities.
50% Travel required nationally.
Telecommuting permitted.
Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
Utilizing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies to deliver projects across various phases of implementation, including planning, requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment;
Developing and launching automation solutions, using DevOps methodology;
Delivering and deploying custom developed applications for clients, including prototyping, code development, modularization, unit testing, configuration and defect management, and production deployment, utilizing CI/CD (Continuous integration/Continuous Deployment) and containerization technology;
Architecting and developing solutions related to the automation of infrastructure build and deployment, leveraging DevOps;
Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall lifecycle for the design, development, testing, and implementation of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Data Analytics, and Data Integration solutions;
Utilizing DevOps tools to coordinate and drive aspects of the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations and urgent issues;
Delivering management reporting solutions to clients using OBIEE (Oracle Business IntelligenceEnterprise Edition), and Cognos; and
Creating critical paths by breaking down the project in logical sequences, estimating the time for each activity, and arranging the activities in the most efficient order using ServiceNow, Git, and Jenkins.
