Job Description:
This position is an integral part of our academic services team and provides administrative support to the Mechanical Engineering graduate program. The position is the main point of contact for graduate/recruitment activities and participates in graduate recruitment events in and out of the region, in addition to creating new recruiting resources, maintaining a recruitment database, and informing prospective graduate students and the public on eligibility for admission and program requirements. Some evening/weekend hours and travel are required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Four or more years of administrative office experience in an academic environment. Excellent computer skills with various programs and ability to work with specialized databases. Outstanding customer service skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience in graduate student recruitment preferred. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Access and Excel. Excellent communication skills and initiative. Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
