About Us: The Belvedere Grand is a charming lakeside Venue, Restaurant, and Bed & Breakfast located on the shores of Big Manistee Lake in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our on-site restaurant provides an exceptional dining experience for our guests, featuring a menu of locally sourced and expertly prepared dishes. We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our restaurant team and contribute to our high standards of service.

Job Summary: Restaurant Help will assist in various aspects of the restaurant's operations, including serving, hosting, and supporting the kitchen staff. This role requires a versatile and team-oriented individual who is committed to providing excellent service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be willing to help in all aspects of our Restaurant, including both front and back of house.
• Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, adhering to presentation standards.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
• Support kitchen staff by delivering food orders and assisting with basic food preparation tasks.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
