Description
The Data and AI team is a new function within Amazon Customer Service's Customer Engagement Technology (CET). We own the end-to-end process of defining, building, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive data strategy, and applying GenAI, computer vision, ontology, and/or natural language processing to customer service experiences and foundational technologies.
As a Senior Product Management-Tech professional, you will own the foundational computer vision products. You will be a thought leader and key influencer who can translate complex business requirements and customer needs into innovative solutions. You'll evaluate and prioritize initiatives to ensure we're focusing on the most impactful problems. As a "hands-on" technical product leader, you will establish the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and goals, and drive teams to execute on that vision.
You should work well in a fast-paced setting, handling many projects at once and using your skills to create effective solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Defining the strategic vision, developing a long-term roadmap, and leading cross-functional teams to execute on that vision.
Diving into technical details and evaluating trade-off decisions (e.g., asking meaningful questions to scientists or engineers).
Influencing technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions.
Effectively operating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements to customers' experience.
Communicating technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences, building consensus and alignment.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
5+ years of technical product management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
