Ardent Services LLC is hiring an Accounting Manager/Controller.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • AP / AR / PR / Cash Management

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Accounting support – calculates journal entries with data from system-generated reports or other sources for a variety of general ledger accounts.

  • Reconcile General Ledger Accounts – maintains reconciliations for a variety of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.

  • Financial reporting - assists in the preparation of financial statements, cash forecasting, monthly accruals as well as bank reconciliation.

  • Monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax preparation.

  • Creating and implementing financial policies and procedures.

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations.

  • Monitoring and protecting the organization’s assets and financial condition.

  • Daily collaborations with payroll, HR, AR, AP, Job Costing, banking, and general ledger.

  • Internal Audits from Parent Company

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced Excel experience

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, numerical, verbal, and written communication

  • Ability to effectively communicate with other departments within the organization.

  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.

  • Ensure departmental deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance

  • CPA or CPA candidate a plus

  • Viewpoint Vista Trimble Software a plus

  • Five to ten years of professional experience a plus
