Job Title: QA/QC Technician

Job Description

As a QA/QC Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting raw materials, verifying product counts, and maintaining accurate data records. You will also be responsible for monitoring GMP and food safety procedures, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect raw materials

  • Verify product counts utilizing basic math skills

  • Accurate data entry

  • Monitor GMP and food safety procedures

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Essential Skills

  • Basic math abilities

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office/Excel

  • 1-2 years of QA experience or relevant industry experience in manufacturing

  • Experience in food manufacturing/food quality

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of inspection and quality control processes

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Understanding of food safety standards

Work Environment

This company processes, cleans, rinses, cuts, and distributes all types of produce. The work environment is cold and wet, with temperatures ranging between 34-40 degrees. The floors are wet due to constant sanitation and washing of equipment and product. The facility uses Chlorine and Citric Acid for cleaning, resulting in a strong smell throughout. Please ensure candidates do not have allergies to Chlorine.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, Kentucky.
