SUMMIT CREDIT UNION Project Manager in COTTAGE GROVE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description The Project Manager serves as a key leader in the execution of high impact and visible projects. This role engages business leaders, subject matter experts, and technology professionals in the delivery of strategic and operational project initiatives. This will often include updates to various leadership audiences for transparency and feedback to enable successful project delivery. To ensure projects meet quality expectations, timely delivery, and costs within budget, this individual will work with cross-functional project team members to monitor and report progress as well as elevate any challenges that put project outcomes and implementation at risk. Expected Outcomes Projects are completed on time, and within scope and budget, enabling the desired member and employee outcomes to be achieved. Positive relationships are fostered with stakeholders. Project progress is communicated clearly. Expectations are managed with stakeholders, including business partners, team members, and leadership. Potential risks to project success are identified and proactively resolved. Summit\'s project teams promote a continuous learning culture. Project work complies with Project Management Office and industry standards. Capability Requirements Process oriented mindset with minimum 1 year of related experience managing medium to large technology projects with experience using multiple project management methodologies; Waterfall and Agile Methodologies. Bachelor\'s degree or combination of applicable work experience and education. Experience with all aspects of project management including but not limited to requirements gathering, analysis, design, planning, testing, documentation, and production implementation. Demonstrates strong initiative, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine root-causes of performances within systems and processes. Well-developed interpersonal skills essential for professional interactions with all levels of credit union staff under normal and adverse circumstances. Experience managing vendors, including demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate and resolve issues strongly preferred. Demonstrates experience championing change and continuous improvement, ensuring products and/or services drive innovation, ease, and simplicity. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and project management software such as Planview PPM Pro, Jira, and Microsoft Project.
