Overview:

Ehsan Islamic School, established in 2023, is dedicated to blending academic rigor with spiritual growth in order to empower the Greater Iowa City Muslim community. We are seeking a dynamic Full-Time Teacher who is passionate about fostering a supportive and enriching environment that nurtures the mind, body, and soul.

Curriculum Delivery:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate academic excellence with Islamic values.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Student Development:

• Mentor and guide students in their academic, personal, and spiritual growth.
• Create a classroom atmosphere that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and mutual respect.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work collaboratively with fellow educators to continuously improve the schools curriculum.

Professional Development:

• Engage in ongoing professional learning and training.

Qualifications:

• (Preferred) Bachelors or Masters degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification/license or willingness to become certified.
• Demonstrated experience in classroom instruction and curriculum development.
• A commitment to integrating Islamic values with academic teaching.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
