WorkSource Oregon LIFT Grant Project Administrator in Coos Bay, Oregon
Purpose: The LIFT Grant Project Administrator will coordinate and have responsibilities guiding all aspects of US-Department of Labor LIFT grant. The Administrator is responsible for the coordination of resources, tasks, and necessary steps to complete the grant strategies and outcomes within the specified timeframes. Ensure all evaluations, outcomes and activities of the grant are summarized and accurately reported. Description of Essential Functions: Program Administration (50% of Time) Serve as a liaison between the LIFT project and the faculty and administration of the college, ensuring regular, open communication about project progress. Assume responsibility for the timely completion of all development and pilot-test phases and project objectives as detailed in the project implementation plan. Manage day-to-day activities of the LIFT grant. Coordinate acquisition, installation, implementation, and tracking for all the LIFT grant activities. Cultivate and build relationships with partners in industry, education, and other state and federal agencies to implement the key projects of the grant. Implement and evaluate grant goals, objectives, policies and services that are consistent with the proposal gaudiness and the US Department of Labor regulations for administration of a Federal Grant. Supervise and evaluate program staff. Grant Management (50% of Time) Assure evaluation of project activities. Monitor and expend the budget in accordance with Federal rules and regulations, assessing progress toward objectives, meeting reporting requirements, and informing campus constituencies of LIFT progress and outcomes. Produce accurate and timely narrative annual reports and budget reports for submission to the Department of Labor. Oversee the formative and summative evaluations of the project. Ensure that all established project fiscal policies and procedures are followed. Prepare quarterly progress reports, including evaluation of activities completed and recommendations for improvement. Performs Other Duties and Special Projects as Required/Assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor\'s degree from a regionally accredited institution in business, education, or related field. Teaching and/or instructional design experience. Demonstrated experience in grant or project management. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Applicants for this position possessing one or more of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities with receive preferred consideration through the selection process. Master\'s Degree in business, education or related field. Two (2) years of demonstrated experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with industries and/or apprenticeship programs.
