Family Ministries Leader

This position is a part-time, hourly position (no benefits) of approximately 14 hours per week, paying \$15 per hour.

Please note while some remote work may be possible, applicants should expect to spend most of their time on-site.

Summary

The Family Ministries Leader is primarily responsible for providing oversight and coordination of Family Ministry Events, promoting events via social media and other outlets, working with Youth and Nursery leader staff, and communicating with church members and guests about their children in our programs.

This position is a part-time, hourly position (no benefits) of approximately 14 hours per week, paying \$15 per hour.

Responsibilities Include:

• Collaboration with Youth and Nursery leader staff for special events for children and families.
• Coordinate events and volunteers.
• Coordinate promotional materials and/or social media content to promote events and provide information.
• Coordinate with the Office Administrator and Facilities Team regarding needs for special events.
• Direct staff and volunteers as needed during events.
• Coordinate bi-weekly meetings with Youth and Nursery staff and attend bi-weekly meetings with worship staff.
• Plan curriculum for childrens ministries and coordinate volunteers/staff to teach the curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience organizing events with multiple volunteers and many moving parts.
• Proficient with email, Google Docs, and social media platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children, youth, and families.
• Familiarity/Experience with the mission and values of PC(USA).
