Summary:

• Safety First: The Bale Room Coordinator will prioritize safety in all aspects of their work. This includes ensuring compliance with safety protocols, training team members on safe practices, and promptly addressing any safety concerns.

• Paperwork Management: The coordinator will handle paperwork related to the recycling division, including processing Bills of Lading (BOLs) and maintaining accurate records.

• Technical: General knowledge of Office suite to include working knowledge of excel. Experience in AS400 desired.

• Communication: Liaise with various departments (Accounts, Front Office, Housekeeping) to facilitate smooth operations and handle other department requests.

• Housekeeping: Oversee housekeeping tasks, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to standards.

• 5S Practices: Implement and maintain 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) within the bale room area.

• Additional job duties as assigned by management and miscellaneous projects

Safety:

Required - PPE must be worn while on your job. At a minimum safety glasses, steel toe shoes and hearing protection. Gloves are required on the production floor and warehouses at all times. Please see Appendix A and Appendix B (Conover Specific) attached to the WestRock Glove Policy (CompliantPro). Bump cap per company policy
