DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide end-to-end support for large-scale in-memory Gemfire clusters with Terabytes of in-memory data. Oversee project development work, coordination with globally distributed development teams, for successful implementation of projects and timely resolution of production issues, and advising on best practices. Facilitate discussions with the vendor on the required feature lists and version upgrades, work with third-party suppliers and manage the deliverables by adhering to industry guidelines and security concerns. Ensure data quality and integrity is maintained due to data ingestion from various other systems. Develop and support JPMC cloud services to support the cache system. Provide internal Gemfire product assistance to other teams across the firm who are looking to leverage similar technology.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineering, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Job Location: 1111 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
