JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Software Engineer in Columbus, OH.

DUTIES: Design and execute software solutions, including technical troubleshooting. Develop secure high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. Lead communities of practice across software engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer and Information Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Software Developer, or related occupation. Requires experience in the following: Windows; Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; J2EE; NodeJS; Spring; Java; React; SQL; REST; SOAP; JSON; AWS Cloud Services; Splunk; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; Smoke Testing; System Integration Testing; Unit Testing; Delivering system design, application development, and operational stability; Automation; Continuous delivery; SDLC; Agile; Scrum; and working within IT systems in the financial services industry.
