Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in VMware to Hyper-V migrations, with a strong understanding of virtualization, Windows Server, and System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM). This role involves rapid proof of concept work and small pilot projects to demonstrate the capabilities of Hyper-V.

Key Responsibilities:

• VMware to Hyper-V Migrations: Lead and execute migration projects from VMware to Hyper-V, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.

• Proof of Concept and Pilot Projects: Initiate and manage rapid proof of concept work and small pilot projects to showcase Hyper-V capabilities.

• Technical Expertise: Utilize strong knowledge of virtualization, Windows Server, and SCVMM to successfully execute migration projects.

• Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to customers throughout the migration process, addressing any technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, configurations, and best practices.

Technical Requirements:

• Virtualization: In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies, particularly VMware and Hyper-V.

• Windows Server: Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration and management.

• SCVMM: Expertise in System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) for managing and deploying virtual machines.

• Migration Projects: Proven experience in leading and executing migration projects, with a focus on VMware to Hyper-V transitions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications in virtualization, Windows Server, and SCVMM are a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary:

The on-target earnings range is $91,457- $137,186, which includes a base salary and incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies. ​
