Convert business questions into insights and actions. Extract data from existing data sources (transactional and customer databases), summarizing the data into actionable insights, and presenting these insights and recommendations to business partners. Regularly interact with cross-functional partners within the brand and help drive the overall brand forward through insightful and actionable use of customer and product category analytics. Lead analysis of transactional and customer data, provide insights into customer purchasing behavior and product category growth, develop hypotheses about trends, and translate results into actionable recommendations for cross-functional partners. Perform independent data mining, statistical analysis, and database research to identify customer trends and opportunities. Oversee recurring / standardized reporting as well as complete ad hoc projects as assigned. Help the team to improve and develop new / better data analytics methodologies using both existing and emerging analytic techniques and resources. Build rapport and trust with cross-functional partners by meeting regularly and providing them with actionable and accurate analysis. Gain intimate knowledge of assigned business categories. Minimum requirements include: Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics or Electronic Engineering plus 3 years exp, including 2 years' experience with SQL; 2 years' experience with R; 2 years' experience with Python; 2 years' experience with Microstrategy; and 2 years' experience with VB Script.
