Addressing and resolving quality issues through timely response and appropriate actions which meet the customers' requirements and/or exceed the customers' expectations. May require trips to field to resolve customer/vendor quality issues. This role also identifies opportunities to prevent quality/defect recurrence by assisting with resolutions within the ABD SAFEGATE and its supply chain or through engineering design improvements. You will make an impact by.... Assist with the tracking of defects, test results, or other regularly reported quality control data Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses, or quality trends Maintains and controls calibration records for all test and inspection equipment. Lead and participate in productivity improvement investigations Partner with production associates to resolve quality issues; document and communicate findings Establish incoming inspection procedures as required; conduct incoming inspections or train others as needed The talent we want to inspire has.. BS in Engineering with minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience in a Quality role Able to perform data analysis using Statistical Methodology such as SPC, Capability Analysis, DOE, Gage R&R etc. Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, work instructions, correspondence, and memos. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access). Experience with Minitab is a plus. What's on offer We value you and your contribution in the business.
