Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will lead, organize, and assist with various marketing projects and campaigns for Corporate Marketing. An ideal candidate would have project management experience, strong visual communication skills, experience with press relations, excel at internal communications, and an interest and enthusiasm for the Real Estate or home building industry. This candidate should be multi-task oriented, a creative-thinker and problem-solver. This person works closely with the Corporate Design, Digital, SEO, and Email teams, all homebuilding divisions, and key groups within other corporate departments.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with strategic marketing operations, working closely with Marketing Director to align tactics to overall brand strategies, target market preferences, and organizational goals.

  • Own relationships with key vendors, including regular communications, assigning work, setting projects budgets, and ultimately the vendor’s final deliverables.

  • Become the voice for internal communication of key business and marketing strategies to all homebuilding divisions ensuring complete understanding of campaigns and desired performance metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate structured conference calls with each homebuilding divisions.

  • Present during marketing campaign launches, continued education sessions, and other events.

  • Collect pertinent information for assigned projects and coordinates efforts to reach deliverables.

  • Proof work from internal teams against original objective and for potential errors.

  • Review, monitor, and update internal project lists and reports.

  • Special project research and management. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or related field.

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a Marketing role.

  • Knowledge or experience working with press agencies, media outlets, and journalists.

  • Exceptional verbal and written skills. Ability to adapt to the voice and tone of brand.

  • Team player that is reliable, flexible, and helpful in a collaborative environment.

  • Fast learner, highly motivated, self-starter and focused.

  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage work with multiple deadlines.

  • Client-centric and service oriented positive attitude.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, project management software

Working Conditions

  • Full time in-person at our Easton Town Center office in Columbus, Ohio
