Both part time and full time schedules available, must commit to at least one 8 hour shift per week. Choose where you want to work! Opportunity for classes/CEUs. Provide family centered care and develop ongoing relationship with patient and family. One week mandatory nursing orientation. Further orientated and trained by a RN Preceptor until fully competent. RN and Scheduler on call 24 hours/7 days per week to provide support. Provides direct continuous skilled nursing care or skilled nursing visits for individuals and/or groups of acute, chronically ill and terminal patients as prescribed by NCH and community physicians in compliance with regulations as established by the State Board of Nursing, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, JC standards, and the policies and procedures of Homecare and NCH to patients in the home setting or other environments as approved. The care provided by the NCH LPN shall reflect the highest standards of nursing practice and shall be provided in a manner which promotes quality, continuity and safe patient care.
