AT&T Client Executive Program Manager (Government) in Columbia, Maryland

RIS I is the delivery of regional IT services to the end user. We offer support of end user devices including desktop, workplace peripherals, and voice and video devices. We support local and campus area networks, including wireless and cable plant.

AT&T has an opening for a senior Program Manager to lead a large, complex, service-based IT contract. Leader will communicate issues and solutions; provide guidance and direct program & technical teams; rapidly assemble and execute focused cross-disciplinary government/contractor teams to address urgent or unexpected cost, schedule, or technical program/contract issues.

The job duties are as follows:

  • The Program Manager shall be responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract.

  • Serves as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor’s senior management.

  • Directly contributes to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities.

  • Ensures proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract.

  • Will utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.

  • Ability to formulate creative solutions to program expansion, service enhancements and delivery efficiencies.

  • Familiar with leading an asset-based contract with service level agreements.

Required Clearance:

TS/SCI with poly (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications:

Responsible for the overall development, direction, and management of a strategic client relationship, and all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and programs in that area.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develops/cultivates senior level relationships with existing clients ultimately leading to a more robust relationship with consequential sales growth. Responsible for account strategy, profit and loss, plan execution, program management, lifecycle management, escalations, stewardships, and customer satisfaction.

  • Works to grow the client relationship by identifying new business opportunities. Drives team to execute on contract terms and conditions and works to ensure on- time delivery of generally very large and complex projects and/or programs. Interfaces with all areas affected by the program implementation. Defines program scope and objectives.

  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

  • Conducts business rhythms and ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews program deliverables.

  • Manages the integration of teammate/vendor tasks and tracks and reviews their deliverables. Provides program vision and technical guidance to team. Recommends and acts to direct solutions to challenges and program growth areas.

  • Education: Bachelors or Advanced degree preferred

  • Experience:Typically requires 12 or more years of experience and prior managerial responsibilities.

Desired Qualifications:

PMP certification, FAC-P/PM Entry Level certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 2 certification in Program Management is required.

Our Client Executive Program Manager' s earn between $130,700 - $304,600. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
