Linquest Corporation Senior Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description

TMC, a LinQuest company, is seeking a Senior Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) Engineer to join the team in Colorado Springs, CO. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

The Senior Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) Engineer II is a member of our contractor logistics team and works in a high-paced environment with contractor and Government personnel and system developers/providers to ensure the system remains operational. Will coordinate with other functional/departmental managers to understand all necessary aspects of organizational assets requirements and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized engineering, analysis, operations support, and subject matter expertise to the Bounty Hunter Logistics program.

  • Perform reliability engineering analysis to include life cycle asset management; root-cause and root-cause failure analysis; failure reporting, analysis and corrective action system; reliability and availability metrics development; and others on software and hardware systems.

  • Provide expertise and guidance regarding RMA processes, methods and standards to support the Bounty Hunter System

  • Evaluate, monitor, and advise the Government regarding integration of producibility principles and practices, qualification of manufacturing methods and processes, inclusion of alternate designs and capabilities, and risk identification

  • Collect, analyze, and report Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) metrics

  • Analyze Level of Repair Analysis and Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality

  • Analyze Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)

  • Investigate Deficiency reports (DRs)

  • Review and analyze site system tracking metrics to report negative trends

  • Support manufacturing/production readiness reviews and associated manufacturing audits and risk reduction activities

  • Identify, document and track hardware and software assurance and quality issues and corrective measures

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years experience on Space ground systems/terminals, and/or satellite systems.

  • 1+ year experience of data analysis techniques including Statistical Process Control, Reliability modeling and prediction, Fault Tree Analysis, Weibull Tree Analysis, and Six Sigma (6σ) Methodology.

  • Must have and maintain an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI-eligible.

  • Demonstrated understanding of RMA practices, techniques, and procedures

  • Demonstrated experience working with or for the Government on a Government Space systems program.

  • Experience and familiarity working with RMA military standards and regulations.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, specifically attention to detail.

  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced degree

  • 8+ years of overall Specialty experience in DoD Supply/Logistics/engineering experience

  • 3+ years of reliability engineering analysis to include Life Cycle Asset Management; Root-cause and Root-Cause Failure Analysis; Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System; Reliability and Availability Metrics development; and others on software and hardware systems

  • 3+ years of data analysis techniques including Statistical Process Control, Reliability modeling and prediction, Fault Tree Analysis, Weibull Tree Analysis, and Six Sigma (6σ) Methodology

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $93,000 to $134,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
