Robert Half Director of Revenue Cycle in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description

Robert Half has a new and exciting opportunity in Colorado Springs. This role involves interacting with different departments, such as sales, customer service, and finance, to ensure that revenue is being generated efficiently. As such, it is crucial for this person to be able to clearly articulate and relay information across various teams to ensure alignment of targets and strategies. Moreover, this position would be required to investigate and analyze different financial data sets to determine any issues or discrepancies. This would require being adept at building reports or queries, particularly in relation to payment issues. The ideal candidate would need to systematically track and examine the reasons for any late or missed payments from payers and devise strategies to address these issues.

In addition, they would need to have knowledge of revenue cycle management, billing procedures, and payer contracts. They would also need to have strong leadership skills to motivate and guide their team towards achieving their revenue objectives. Other essential skills would include negotiation skills, decision-making abilities, problem-solving capacities, and strategic thinking. Having advanced skills in financial software, databases, and computer systems would also be beneficial in this role. This would enable the director to use technological tools to streamline processes involved in payment collection, billing, and report generation. Requirements • Proven experience in the healthcare revenue cycle

• Profound knowledge of revenue cycle processes in a healthcare setting

• Prior experience in hospital admissions and related processes

• Understanding of healthcare pricing strategies and billing procedures

• Familiarity with healthcare payer systems, including insurance payers and third-party payers

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

• Proficiency with healthcare-related software systems and tools

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

• Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
