Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technician to troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment. This role involves replacing or repairing circuit cards, mechanical sub-assemblies, and discrete components. The Technician will also calibrate equipment according to manufacturer specifications, refurbish equipment by replacing worn components and cleaning exterior covers, and perform final testing of repaired or refurbished equipment using various diagnostic tools. Additionally, the Technician will provide technical support to hotline and field service, perform administrative responsibilities, ensure parts are in stock, and assume additional responsibilities for special projects as directed.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment by replacing or repairing circuit cards, mechanical sub-assemblies, and discrete components.
Calibrate equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
Refurbish equipment by replacing worn components and cleaning exterior covers.
Perform final testing of repaired or refurbished equipment using various diagnostic tools.
Provide technical support to hotline and field service in resolving complex problems related to the machine or device being worked on.
Perform administrative responsibilities using software applications for asset management and call tracking.
Ensure parts are in stock for the repair and maintenance of computer equipment.
Assume additional responsibilities for special projects as directed.
Maintain inventories of parts to support depot repair.
Prepare monthly reports on types of repairs and submit them to management.

Work Environment
