Ohio Means Jobs Cleveland Cuyahoga County is sourcing for a Journeyman Electrician for a local Cleveland Company. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, with experience in both commercial and industrial settings. This role involves working in various environments, performing installations, renovations, and maintenance of electrical systems while adhering to safety standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC). Requirements and Responsibilities include (but not limited to): • Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring techniques and safety protocols/practices • Able to read prints and properly install equipment. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring techniques and safety practices • Ability to work independently with direction and to follow wiring schematics and blueprints • Proficient in the use of electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices • Ability to perform conduit bending of all types and sizes • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments (e.g. heights, tight spaces) • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. • Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record • Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols Experience: • Proven experience as an electrician in both commercial and industrial environments is essential. • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work. • Knowledge of high voltage systems and their installation/maintenance requirements. • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical systems. • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.
