Ohio Means Jobs Cuyahoga Cleveland is sourcing for a part-time garage valet attendant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Check with valet from previous shift for work-related communication or special projects.

· Retrieve or park resident vehicles, as requested.

· Help to direct traffic into/out of the garage, as necessary.

· Promptly report security/maintenance concerns to Property Manager.

· Handle package deliveries using Notifii as follows: Accept courier and/or USPS package(s); document delivery and notify residents of package(s); and, assist with delivering package(s), when requested.

· Perform daily garage maintenance as assigned, as follows:

o Keep assigned garage floor clean, dry, and oil free on a weekly basis, or more, if needed; Notify Property Manager is there is a vehicle with any oil or other fluids dripping;

o Keep garage kitchen area clean at all times. Microwave and refrigerator should be clean and old food removed on a daily basis. Garbage should be taken out per shift, as needed.

o Empty garage trash cans;

o Keep garage entryways/exits and drainage grates free of litter, leaves, and debris;

o Keep the garage well-lit by checking all light sources and by dusting off spider webs.

· Perform other tasks as needed:

o Store and/or maintain equipment;

o Assist with resident garbage pick-up and scheduled trash dumpster pick-up;

o Ensure the dumpster area is clean and odor free;

o Wash vehicles for residents only, if requested.

o Follow established procedures for emergencies;

o Remove snow and apply ice melt throughout property, as directed by Property Manager;

o Ensure all tasks and duties are fulfilled before doing for-fee tasks such as car washes;

o Monitor and supervise building move ins/outs as directed by Property Manager.

· Complete bi-monthly outdoor walk-through, as directed by Supervisor or Property Manager.

· Be available to cover Holidays for full-time staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Be at least 18 years old.

· Possess high school diploma or equivalent.

· Have a valid Ohio Driver's License and have a good driving record.

· Be able to drive both automatic and standard shift cars.

· Pass criminal background check.

· Be physically fit to perform all essential duties.

· Possess good customer service and communication skills.

· Be chemical and drug free. Management reserves the right to perform random drug screening.
