Job Number: R0201229 Mission Cyber Engineer Key Role: Leverage domain knowledge to create cyber security solutions for IT and mission systems aligned to the client's mission to expand the air and space frontier. Analyze and manage processes to assess and manage cybersecurity risk for the client. Apply knowledge of cyber threats and cybersecurity solutions to develop cybersecurity solutions for IT, mission, and industrial control systems. Monitor emerging cyber threats and security solutions for opportunities to reduce attack surfaces of client environments. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years experience with assessing the cybersecurity posture of IT, mission, or industrial control systems Knowledge of NIST standards and risk management framework Ability to apply cybersecurity principles to non-enterprise type environments Ability to obtain a security clearance Bachelor's degree DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II Certification, including GSEC, Security+CE, CISM, or GSLC Additional Qualifications: Experience in implementing and using cybersecurity monitoring or scanning tools Experience with assessing or securing space systems Experience with assessing or securing industrial control systems Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and controls applicable to Government mission systems, space systems, or industrial control systems CNDSP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
