We are looking for a driven and client-focused Entry Level Civil Design Engineer in Columbus, OH to support a wide variety of water, wastewater, and water resources projects throughout the region. As a valued member of our Civil and Conveyance team, you’ll be working on site design, grading, storm and sanitary sewer design, watermains, erosion control, and supporting the design of water and wastewater facilities. You’ll work closely with our talented project teams through all phases of plan production as we carry projects from concept design to bid-ready documents and into construction. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on site civil design and water resources.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, data analysis & technical problem-solving skills.
• Top notch organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:
• Experience in the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D, ESRI ArcGIS, and Bluebeam
• Graduate degree in Water Resources, Environmental, or Civil Engineering
