Job Description Summary: The Senior Program Manager is responsible for program capture, development, planning and execution. The Program Manager develops new programs with Draper programs customers, including NASA and commercial industry to partner in the development of new systems and technologies. Manages and ensures the timely completion of specific, defined multi discipline defense programs or projects of greater than average complexity and scope.

The Air Force and Missile Defense Strategic Systems program area at Draper is seeking a Clearfield, Utah based program manager to work closely with our staff as we increase our contributions to the warfighter, supporting program offices and industry and academic partners at Hill Air Force Base and surrounding area. We are seeking a staff member who excels in fast-paced, dynamic work environments with only top-level guidance and minimal oversight. This position will operate as an integral member of the mission area team and work across the breadth of the Draper enterprise to ensure adequate coordination and collaboration across laboratory functions.

Responsibilities of this position include:

Identify, grow, lead, and manage Warfighter, Sponsor, and partner relationships to identify prospective collaborations and mutually beneficial relationships. Operate on point and/or in a supporting role to generate external business pursuit proposals, coordination of those proposals across the Draper enterprise and delivery/submission of proposals to potential external Sponsors. Lead capture activities to include proposal efforts.
