Job Title: Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting electrical assembly in accordance with IPC standards, performing visual inspections and functional testing of products, entering inspection results into an automated database, and ensuring product integrity through product and process audits. Additionally, you will be inspecting soldering on circuit boards to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Quality assurance experience

• Experience in production, visual inspection, functional testing, and documentation

• Proficiency in quality control and inspection

• Experience using calipers and micrometers

• Knowledge of IPC 610 standards

• Experience in testing and inspecting PCB and electronics manufacturing

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma

• US citizenship

• Proficiency in reading and writing English

• Minimum of 3 years of quality assurance experience or technical equivalent in a manufacturing environment

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or receiving environment

• Experience in inspecting electrical/mechanical assemblies

• J-STD-001 certification is a plus, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing environment. The position is open to individuals interested in the 1st shift, with a start time between 6am and 7am, following an 8-hour work schedule. Enjoy the benefit of having every other Friday off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clarksburg, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
