Burgess & Niple, Inc. Resident Project Representative in Cincinnati, Ohio
Work alongside senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is seeking an experienced Resident Project Representative to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will provide full-time inspection and coordination for a $250M+ progressive design-build construction project, anticipated to run from 2025 to 2032.
B&N Resident Project Representative Responsibilities:
- Perform general construction inspection and structural special inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
- Attend onsite meetings and coordinate with internal teams, including contract administrators, design teams, subconsultants, and various disciplines
- Enforce project requirements using shop drawings and assist in resolving construction-related challenges
- Track construction quantities and confirm work is completed per plans and specifications
- Engage with contractor field crews to help meet project goals
- Complete daily reports and provide progress updates to owners and B&N project managers
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 15+ years of relevant experience, preferably in construction. Water/wastewater construction experience is a plus.
- A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and able to travel within the region
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and navigate rough terrain. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and handle extended periods of standing, walking, and moderate lifting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors, owners, and internal teams
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and tech-savvy, with the ability to learn and use virtual collaboration tools
