Ensures quality of work and timeliness | | of completion for maintenance projects. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Position Description: | | | | - Ensures the overall maintenance of multiple Agency facilities; | | work is completed timely and with quality | | - Performs primarily interior and exterior building maintenance and | | repair works such as basic plumbing and electrical, carpentry, | | painting, wall repair and replacing doors/parts | | - Picks up supplies and equipment for facilities | | - Works with external vendors and contractors as needed | | - Monitors work to ensure compliance with specifications | | - Moves furniture and equipment as necessary | | - Maintains accurate documentation of work orders through agency | | system | | - Other duties as assigned | | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | | | | | | | | - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and plans | | | | - Ability to plan material and supply needs | | | | - Knowledge of building maintenance techniques and tools | | | | involved in the upkeep of buildings, fixtures and structures | | | | - Knowledge of emergency procedures | | | | - Skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and | | | | preventive/general maintenance | | | | - Driving of personal vehicle | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | Job Requirements: | | | | | | | | - High School Graduate or High School Equivalency | | | | - 1-3 years of experience | | | | - Valid driver license and auto insurance | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | Essential Functions/Physical Demands: | | | | | | | | - Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. | | | | Frequent standing and walking. Infrequent sitting. | | | | - Gross Mobility: Frequent climbing or crawling. Infrequent | | | | balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Frequent to | | | | constant reaching and handling. | | | | - May require ability to walk up to 4 flights of stairs | | | | consecutively, depending on location. | | | | - Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling.
