The Division of Laryngology is seeking a Lead Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve as a partner to the Division Chief and an SLP representative in the Department. As a dually compensated University of Cincinnati (UC) and UC Physicians (UCP) employee, the Lead SLP will bridge academic and clinical missions to improve patient care and enhance financial sustainability through improved clinical operations, billing compliance and increasing patient referrals while optimizing financial return to the department. This position will be responsible for assisting with the overall planning, direction, supervision, and coordination of the SLPs, and collaboration with the laryngologists, in the areas of clinical affairs; workforce recruitment, development, evaluation and retention; student education; and research/quality initiatives.
