About the team The Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) team ensures Worldpay meets its data governance and compliance goals while supporting the Agile Intake Processes. The team enables the data function to quickly adapt to Worldpay's changing requirements, optimize their business decision making through accurate and reliable data, and play the critical role of ensuring we are compliant with relevant regulations such as SOX, PCI-DSS, privacy, and security regulations. This role supports the responsible use initiative, focusing on establishing a robust data risk framework and defining clear guardrails for the responsible use of data and AI. It also involves contributing to strategic data governance projects across Worldpay. What you'll own (This is a process driven position, non-technical) Contribute to the planning and execution of the strategic goals of the Responsible Data & AI Use team. Implement and mature processes and procedures within the global enterprise Responsible Data & AI Use function Cultivate and embed a strong responsible data and AI use culture across the company. Partnering with Second Line Risk Management stakeholders to govern the enterprise data risk management framework and related policies and processes Assisting with writing and promoting adoption of data risk and responsible use policies, standards, and guidelines Partner with Legal to deliver a contract metadata governance capability. Document data governance workflows, playbooks, standards, guidelines, taxonomies, operating procedures, and corporate data policies. Create and own business and functional requirements documents, logical solution designs, and implementation plans Demonstrate proactive thought-leadership by actively keeping up to date on industry trends and developments by making recommendations for areas of opportunity and improvement. Assist with preparing strategic Executive-level presentations and associated documentation. Ensure that Responsible Use processes are both effective and compliant with established standards via meaningful KPIs and metrics. Drive data governance adoption through stakeholder consultation and trainings (i.e. RegU, Lunch and Learns, playbooks) Works with cross-discipline teams to understand privacy, legal, and ethical considerations in the use of AI/machine learning and analytics. Ensure effective and complete data and AI use review processes and documentation by documenting insights, database updating and facilitating process enhancements Develop and maintain scorecards and dashboards to monitor and report on governance and data quality metrics. Actively support compliance initiatives, including adherence to enterprise data, security and privacy policies. Serve as a subject matter expert, advocating for data governance and management practices across Worldpay.
