Job Description

Cintas is hiring for a Senior Product Development Manager, responsible for leading the fabric research and development for the most complex apparel projects. In this role you will champion new innovations and trend analysis in accordance with the vision and strategies of the Global Supply Chain division and our internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the design, merchandising, and sales team to understand customer needs, market trends, and design objectives, informing fabric development priorities and strategies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the fabric research and development efforts to identify new fabrics, technologies, trends, and innovations in the textile industry

• Influence decision makers to achieve a fabric-first mindset to deliver a competitive advantage and improve speed to market

• Build and maintain a physical and PLM-based digital fabric and trims library, developing tools to support the Product Development and Sourcing Managers

• Drive innovation in sustainable fabric solutions

• Facilitate color management process through lab dip and bulk submits by collaborating with Design

• Set quality expectations with vendors

Skills/Qualifications

Required:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

• 6-8 years of garment product development or applicable experience

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in apparel product development, merchandising, or fashion

• 5-7 years of Yunique/PLM experience

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $88,880.00 - $113,698.72/Year. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
