12 Month Contract: Construction Project Manager in Cedar Rapids, IA!! (Hourly + Per Diem)
Job Description
This position will primarily support the Senior Project Manager in ensuring the proper and timely completion of a data center project in Cedar Rapids.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule project meetings to ensure effective communication.
Address and resolve project-related issues promptly.
Support the project manager in monitoring project budgets.
Track expenses and provide regular budget updates.
Assist in cost estimation and analysis.
Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of quality control measures.
Assist in inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
Essential Skills
Experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Project Manager in the construction space.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to clients.
Ability to effectively present information.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Any previous data center experience.
Work Environment
Will be working 100% onsite supporting civil work for the construction of a data center. Can expect to work 50-hour weeks on average, with the potential for some weekend work as things ramp up, but will likely be Monday to Friday for the most part. Will be required to wear proper PPE while on site.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
