Hybrid Business Control Specialist – Risk Programs & Governance

Locations: Chicago, IL; Charlotte, NC; Jacksonville, FL; Plano, TX; Kennesaw, GA; Atlanta, GA; Tampa, FL

Pay: $53.54/hr. (Charlotte, Jacksonville, Kennesaw, Tampa)

Pay: $56.16/hr. (Chicago, Plano, Atlanta)

Shift: Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm

About the Role:

As a Hybrid Business Control Specialist within the Global Treasury and Merchant Operations Risk and Business Control organization, you’ll play a critical role in data management, risk programs, and governance. You’ll work on executing internal control disciplines, ensuring operational excellence, and providing analytical support to enhance data accuracy and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Ensure adherence to Data Management Policies and Data Standards across all Global Treasury and Merchant Operations (GTMO) initiatives.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with SPI Leads and Global Business Partners on data standard adherence and risk controls.

  • Training & Communication: Provide quarterly Data Assessment Resolution Training (DART) and create clear business communications.

  • Governance: Implement and monitor data-related procedures, present key insights to Senior Leaders, and escalate concerns as needed.

  • Incident Management: Track and resolve data transmission issues, ensuring SLAs and registrations are accurately monitored.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive operational improvements through problem-solving and change management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: A strong background in Global Treasury and Merchant Operations or similar, with a focus on risk management, compliance, or remediation.

  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Communication: Clear and concise writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and collaborate with global teams.

  • Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong technical writing skills.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience in relevant fields.

Pay Details: $53.54 to $56.16 per hour
