Job Summary :The Chicago Station Supervisor will assist the EMS day-to-day activities at the Chicago Station including deployment of all Chicago EMS field field personnel Reporting directly to Station Manager.
Essential Job Responsibilities/Functions:
Perform daily vehicle, station and uniform inspections and document appropriately.
Deploy vehicles in a timely and efficient manner to meet dispatch and customer needs.
Participate in monitoring, identification, and reporting of safety related issues.
Practice effective problem-solving identification and resolution skills and a sound method of clinical and moral decision-making with management.
Ensure vehicles are well maintained, well stocked, and operating at required levels.
Meets monthly with management to discuss operational requests, wants and wishes.
Ensuring the designated station and property assigned to LifeLine Ambulance is clean, functional and well maintained.
Addressing employee complaints and resolving problems are to be directed in coordination with the Director of Operations and Human Resources.
Conduct investigations and paperwork following reported incidents.
Working with Communications Manager, Station Managers and Dispatch Supervisor for daily deployment scheduling and other issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous Work Experience
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Outstanding communication and people skills
Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines for IL
Driver’s license (with record in good standing)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
(Must be maintained while holding this position)
EMT-Basic or Paramedic (EMT-P)
Driver’s license (with record in good standing)
