We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in Chicago, Illinois. This role emphasizes the firm's specialization in trucking litigation and commercial motor vehicle accidents. You will be expected to handle and manage personal injury cases, lead a litigation team, and interact regularly with clients, adjusters, and other staff. Additionally, you will oversee pre-litigation case management and negotiation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle personal injury cases, with a strong focus on trucking litigation and commercial motor vehicle accidents, from initiation through trial.

• Lead and supervise a litigation team of over 5 people and oversee a pre-litigation team of 2-3 individuals.

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, manage discovery, and lead depositions.

• Engage in regular communication with clients, adjusters, and internal staff.

• Manage pre-litigation case work, including strategy planning and settlement negotiations.

  Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney (plaintiff or defense, with plaintiff experience preferred).

• Strong work ethic and outstanding attention to detail.

• Experience litigating trucking and commercial motor vehicle accident cases is a plus.

• Proven trial preparation, negotiation, and case management skills.
