Adecco US, Inc. Assistant Property Manager in Chesapeake, Virginia
Adecco Perm Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Petersburg, VA area for the position of Assistant Property Manager to join a dynamic manufacturing team.

Job Summary
When needed, lease apartments by showing models and/or available units, conducting site tours, responding to telephone inquiries, and work with the Property Management staff to develop and implement effective marketing tools.
Follow established policy and procedures in the qualification, screening, and acceptance of applicants.
Review and occasionally prepare all lease related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintain company customer service standards at the site. Act as primary point of contact for resident problems and complaints.
Assist in the training and supervision of the on-site employees.
Manage collection efforts of current residents including reporting
Handle all move-out charges, refunding of security deposits, and collections from previous residents
Be able to act as back up for check postings, PO writing, and invoicing.
Act as point of contact for the Maintenance Department, addressing maintenance-related issues and completing work order follow-ups.
Inspect grounds, models and leasing office daily for marketability and curb appeal.
Coordinate turn process with maintenance staff.
Other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of Multi-family Management experience required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with residents, staff and the corporate office
Ability to multitask and run property operations independently using sound judgment
Organized, professional, friendly, enthusiastic and motivating
Able to work weekends as needed
Previous experience with property management software is required. Yardi is preferred.
A general understanding of accounting principles and the ability to generate, read, and adhere to a budget
Pay Details: $49,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year
