Private Duty LPN – Full-Time Day Shifts

Location:Red Bank, TN (37405)

Overview:Adoration Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated one-on-one care for a 7-year-old patient. This position involves providing care in the home and school settings, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a young patient’s life.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care for a 7-year-old patient at home and at Red Bank Middle School.

• Assist with G-Tube care, transferring, and monitoring for choking precautions.

• Ensure patient safety and comfort, providing compassionate and attentive care.

Certifications Required:

• Active LPN license in Tennessee

• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice• Provide patient and family education according to plan as outlined by the RN• Monitor patient’s vital signs and make specific measurements and observations• Monitor and record intake and output, and report significant changes immediately• Observe, assess and record patient’s physical and mental condition and report any changes• Administer medications as instructed and ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN• Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service education programs, as assigned

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing• Previous home health, private duty, skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred• Ability to build rapport with patients and family members• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills• Reliable transportation or valid driver’s license with current automobile insurance
